Congratulations to Jeremy Small and Garrick Corfield, our first Cup winners of the season, and thanks to the Greens team for all their hardwork
Men's Club Championship Qualifying
Quallifying starts this weekend (Sat 4 Feb) - all full 18 hole Members (Men) are eligible to play, and to qualify you have to play at least one round
There are six opportunities to play that one round (you can play more if you wish):
Sat 4 Feb
Sun 5 Feb
Sat 18 Feb
Sun 19 Feb
Sat 4 Mar
Sun 5 Mar
If you play your qualifying round on a Sunday, select the competition and relevant tee when you print your card, please ensure that your card is marked correctly, and signed by both you and your marker.
The divisions are as follows and based on your handicap as it stands on Saturday 4 Feb.
Seniors - Up to 7.6 (off the Blue tees)
Intermediate: 7.7 to 16.9 (off the white tees)
Junior A: 17.0 to 21.3 (off the white tees)
Junior B: 21.2 + (off the white tees)
The results and the draw for the knock-out matches will then be posted at the club - first round matches to be completed by the end of April (plenty of time to complete each round this year, and they can be played any day of the week to suit those involved)
The Finals are set for Spring. and you will all be updated as the matches progress.
The knockout stages are off the stick (ie no handicaps) and matchplay format
Saturday 4 Feb Competition
Alongside the Club Champs Qualifying, there is a stableford competition this week. This has been set up so that any Seniors wishing to enter the comp and Club Champs can do so by selecting the Blue tees
All other Men looking to compete in both competitions need to select the White tees for both competitions
Anyone just entering the stableford can select whichever tees they prefer, their handicaps will be adjusted accordingly, and they will play those tees for the whole round

I have been assured that the calendar is coming out this week, and I will let those of you who have committed to playing when it has done so, along with all the details you will need to know.
